One of the most wonderful moments of my life - stepping onto the Red Carpet with my mother in tow at the 2011 “Life Out Loud” Event for LifeWorks. LifeWorks is a non-profit organization in Los Angeles helping at-risk LGBT Youth. Seeing my mother’s face while I was up on stage accepting the 2011 “Courage Award” from LifeWorks still remains in my Top 5 favorite memories of all time.
